Summer!!

Hi Everyone!!
Belt Parade
I hope you are all enjoying your summer, I know mine is going by like a blur. On June 30th I loaded up my horse and went just down the road to Belt, Montana for the Belt Celebration Parade. It was a wonderful chance to get to see the community and represent MRMI in my home town.

Mom, Erika, and Kent
That was only the beginning of the 4th of July rodeo week! On July 1st, Mom and I headed down to Livingston for the Livingston Roundup Rodeo. I was blessed with a wonderful horse named Mojo from Kent Blough. Erika Blough, (Miss Missoula Stampede) was also there and was a huge help in showing me around the town and rodeo, for she was last years Miss Livingston Roundup. This years Miss Livingston Roundup, Carly Sykes was also a huge help around the arena. Kesler Rodeo Company put on a fabulous rodeo and each night there was an amazing display of fireworks. At this rodeo I was able to also ride with RheaLynn Baxter, (Southeast Montana Rodeo Queen) Cassidy Shay O'Neil, (Southeast Montana Jr. Queen) and last years Miss Teen Rodeo Montana, Amy Hager. Thank you so much to Cathy Bosley for getting me a hotel room during the rodeo! Livingston was a lot of fun and I met so many wonderful people!

Golfing in Conrad
Hodgkiss Sponsors
I got a surprise call from Hodgkiss Seed and was asked to come up to Conrad for a day of golfing as Miss Teen Rodeo Montana. I was a little scared, for I have only golf maybe five times. Well who knew, but I am actually a pretty good golfer. I was on a team of four gentlemen who where some of the nicest guys I have ever met. The golf tournament was part of a customer appreciation for Hodgkiss Seed. After eighteen holes we went into the Pondera Golf Club House for a fabulous Prime rib dinner! I helped out with door prizes and awards. I was completely shocked when my team got third place in the golf tournament. Bob Hodgkiss also auctioned off a few of my autograph pictures to pay for my gas and I was able to find a few generous sponsors for my year! Thank you to Bob Hodgkiss for a wonderful day of golfing!!

Barrel Racing
Kiddy Rodeo Competitors
Art Auction
Cow Skull artwork
Home town rodeo # 2 was next! The CM Russel Stampede kicked off on Saturday night with the kiddy rodeo and the quick draw and art auction. The kiddy rodeo was a lot of fun and the competition was really good. After that everyone huddled under tents and in the buildings, because all of a sudden there was a down poor and it lasted for quite a while! It stopped raining just in time for me to help auction off the art! The barrel racers were auctioned off next, which concluded the evening for me. The next morning I got up bright and early to wash my horse Sandy and get her ready for the rodeo. Sparky with J Bar J Rodeo was wonderful to work with and he put on a fabulous rodeo! I had the opportunity to sing the National Anthem as well. I was accompanied by Miss Rodeo Montana and we pushed cattle out of the arena and flew the colors of sponsors at the beginning of every event!

Looking forward to the many rodeos ahead!!

Western Wishes!!
