And So It Begins!
On January 20th, I was able to attend the Great Falls M.A.G.I.E. and met some local agricultural vendors. Jim Sargent from KMON Radio in Great Falls, took the time to introduce me to some of the local vendors along with the State FFA Officers. The Stick Horse Rodeo at the Lewistown Winter Fair was the next event on my agenda. I had a fabulous time with all 72 kids, ranging from age 3 to 8 years. Mary Knerr and the rest of the Back Country Horsemen where very kind to me and it was definitely the biggest stick horse rodeo I have ever attended! Two weekends later I was headed to Bozeman for the Montana Cowboy Hall of Fame Banquette. It was a lovely event with outstanding auction items. Mariah and I both had the opportunity to model the live auction items and we both enjoyed the items a little too much, my favorite was the leather jacket. Thanks to Mike Gurnett and Jack Stensland for their hospitality in Bozeman!
Dreams Do Come True!
Dreams do come true! I can’t believe
that I was crowned Miss Teen Rodeo Montana, in fact I still don’t think it has
set in. First of all, I would just like to take the time to thank each and
every person who was a part of this year’s pageant. I would also like to thank
all the contestants, who truly made the pageant a blast! Following the
coronation, it was such an honor to have the opportunity to sing the National
Anthem and be announced as the new Miss Teen Rodeo Montana at the final
performance of the Montana ProRodeo Circuit Finals!
